Key Highlights in Startup Funding This Week
Artificial intelligence (AI) startups remained the primary focus for investors for the second consecutive week, securing a total of $93.9 million across six deals. Different, an AI-driven marketing technology startup led by Ajeet Sing, emerged from stealth mode with a $48 million funding round—the largest among AI startups this week.
Healthtech was the second most well-funded sector, attracting $60.6 million through two deals. This was driven largely by a $50 million Series B round for Even Healthcare, while CureBay raised $10.6 million through a combination of equity and debt financing.
Venture debt firm Trifecta Capital and early-stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures were the most active investors this week, each backing two startups.
In a relatively quiet week for the broader funding market, seed-stage startups drew significant investor interest, with five such companies raising a combined $51.4 million—accounting for approximately 28% of the total funding volume.
